The magic pond

This dream I had was full of inconsistencies. It was very strange for me because very odd and random things appeared.

I'm a nature lover; therefore, I like to go out for walks to see large animals, like deers, or small ones, like ladybugs. I also love plants, my favorite ones are those with big leaves; so this is always influencing my dreamlike nights.

During a nap I took some days ago, I dreamed that I was walking and encountered animals I had never seen before. It's important to mention that I am afraid of frogs and toads, as this detail plays an important role later on.

In the dream, I was initially walking through a kind of humid jungle, but every time I ventured deeper, the sounds and animals became more exotic. I was curious, amazed. I was taking pictures, but at the same time, the scenery was constantly changing: the weather, the colors, the appearance of the animals, the ground, my clothes, my way of breathing. Everything.              I remember that at one point, I stopped and saw an animal resembling a monkey that had huge, bright black eyes. But while it looked at me, with each blink, an extra eye opened, which made me uncomfortable, so I kept walking.

Suddenly, I found myself in a place without trees, a bit sunny and strange, and I felt the need to look for water to drink. I looked in the distance and saw a very shiny pond. I ran toward it, and when I arrived, I saw that the water had a shiny, gelatinous appearance, but when I touched it, it became translucent. I could see beautiful and colorful little stones inside. Without paying much attention to how it looked, due to my thirst, I closed my eyes, I leaned down and drank. I felt it was the most delicious water my lips had ever touched and that my mouth had ever tasted; I couldn't stop drinking it.

I thought I was opening my eyes in the dream but instead of watching the magic pond I was back in real life watching my bedrooms' roof. It was a strange dream, but at certain point, it was pleasant.
