Third entry of: The magic pond

Well, this is a third dream that I had with my friend Mr. Toad on the magical pond. I must say that this week in my real life, I came across a very tiny frog—so small, in fact— but I couldn't tolerate being close to it; it scared me a lot. Apparently, I can only be near them in my dreams.

To start, this dream began in a strange way; it was a mix of random things and unfamiliar places until suddenly a place felt familiar, and I headed towards it. I felt I was near the magical pond, but to my surprise, this time there were many people around the pond; it looked like an exhibition. I thought the people were just chatting with Mr. Toad, but as I got closer, I felt that they were in a bad mood, in fact, they were arguing and pushing each other. When I reached the pond, they were extracting water, collecting the colorful stones, and making wishes to Mr. Toad.

I worried about my friend. Mr. Toad, it looked very tired, as if he had been exploited for many days, and indeed he had, because the people seemed to be established there and organized regarding who were the "owners" of the pond, but new people kept arriving wanting to take something too. Things were not good there, as I observed many dead and rotting bodies of those who had wanted the magical water, the colorful stones, or the wishes granted by Mr. Toad.

The people had become aggressive.

It saddened me greatly to see this; I cried and felt hatred towards the people there, remembering the first time I visited the pond and the other times I enjoyed and respected what I found. The people noticed my presence and began to push me away from the well.

I woke up.

I still felt upset.

My cheeks were wet from my tears.

I hope to dream again of this place and be able to free my friend. This wasn't a pleasant dream but it had me thinking that sometimes in real life things like this happens, we have something beautiful but us or other ruin it because of ambition, or other bad extreme attitude, be careful with that my dear reader, we must enjoy and respect nature, life and people.
